I WISH

“If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, Ask whatever you wish and it will be given” John 15:7(NIV)

I am so charged up today, the reason I am,  John 15:7.

It is 19 days to Christmas and if you are like me, you must be excited. Christmas is the best time of year for me. The carols, the food, the Tree, the cards, the decoration, the gifts, the relaxation, the oneness(my invention, hmm, but the dictionary was cool with it too) Just to mean that everyone is focussed on that one event, isn’t it great.

Christmas also comes with wishes.......(I don’t believe in santa but I also know that you make a wish to santa. Right?)

When I read this verse today, I almost went like “God, are you sure you wanna do this?” But again, He is God. His word is true, it doesn’t return to Him void except it accomplishes that which he has sent it to do. We only need Faith to activate God’s word. After I realised this, I got excited. I said God, My wish list is endless but I know you will handle. God was like “yes child, but remember the key words”

Remain in me

My words remain in you

Those are the only terms and conditions that apply folks. I am soo doing that because, I love the reward. “God is gonna grant me my wishes, Yay!”

( I realise, I wouldn’t make a good preacher. Have you followed to this point? I hope so)

Anyways, I just want to share with you my endless wish list. In no order of preference, after all God promises  to grant ALL.   I just gotta be patient, remain in Him and His words remain in me as He works behind the scenes.

I wish that I complete this assignment

I wish that I pay up my tuition

I wish that I complete this degree

I wish that I get a lovely spouse

I wish that we get great kid(s)

I wish that we have a storeyed beautiful house on the hill by the lake

Did i mention that it should be storeyed?

I wish that we have a nice car

I wish that I am an encouragement to other people

I wish that I make everyone feel the worth that they are because everyone is so uniquely special

I wish that I get a well paying and enjoyable-to-do job

I wish  I could do more to change what is happening in my community

I wish for good health

I wish for a beautiful skin

I wish for wisdom

I wish for discernment

I wish that when this is all over, You will welcome me into heaven

I wish I adjust this list from time to time.
